Esha Deol looked breathtaking in a Rocky S orange and gold lehenga choli at the Sangeet ceremony that kicked off her wedding at Hotel Lalit Intercontinental in Andheri, Mumbai on Monday, June 25, 2012.  Esha, 30, and Bharat Takhtani are getting married on June 29. 
Sangeet is the first ceremony of the four day wedding.  Esha's traditional lehenga orange and yellow colors featured an indigo belt and heavy gold embroidery and crystal embellishments. The midriff baring brocade blouse was accented with crystal work on neck, cap sleeves and hem. A matching colored embellished net dupatta completed her ensemble. 
The burnt Orange lehenga with a hint of emerald green was a perfect  blend of bright and deep red hues, and was embellished with exquisite  Gota work. 
She paired it with an Intricate brocade embroidered blouse.  According to Rocky S, his goal was high octane glamor befitting his  young and vivacious client and friend, while staying true to the  sensibilities embodied in the traditional Indian attire.

The designer took "the foundation of couture lenhga sets - the incredible, time consuming, numbingly detailed techniques" and applied them to their own curious vision. 
"A perfect mix of traditional and bright color palate and trademark eye  catching embroideries - The look opened up into a delicate feel that was  suggestive. 
 "The lehenga, gilded with gold gota work, was  contemporary, inspired by Rajasthani look, proposed with modern feel of  crystalized elements," says Rocky.

Genelia's crystal encrusted  net lehenga had a heavy red and gold border. The red velvet short blouse  featured a deep sweetheart neckline, short sleeves and deep round back.  It was accented with golden zari work. 
Genelia and Esha's mom, Hema  Malini, wore the same designer, Neeta Lulla. She attended the event  with designer daughter Nishka Lulla who also wore a Neeta Lulla lehenga.
